Mr. Nimal Siripala de Silva has been unanimously elected as the new chairman of the Sri Lanka Freedom Party at the party’s executive council meeting held today.
At the same time, Mr. Duminda Dissanayake has also been unanimously chosen as the general secretary of the party.
Until now, both of them were acting in those positions.
