As the northern railway line from Mahawa to Anuradhapura is currently being removed and completely renewed, the possibility of getting train facilities for devotees for the Poson pilgrimage has been closed.
Therefore, SLTB President Mr. Lalitha Alwis stated that 400 additional Langama buses will be deployed for the transportation of pilgrims going to the Poson pilgrimage.
The chairman also said that with the support of Gampaha and Colombo SLTB depots, 400 additional buses will be deployed this year during the Poson season.
