Chief of Defense Staff General Shavendra Silva has been given another service extension by President Ranil Wickremesinghe.
Accordingly, General Shavendra Silva will have to work in the post of Chief of Defense Staff until December 31st.
This service extension has been given for a period of six months with effect from the first of June.
