The Road Development Authority says that it has been proposed to appoint an expert committee consisting of three experts to investigate the collapse of a concrete beam on the Kadawatha-Mirigama section of the Central Expressway.
The Road Development Authority also stated that the preliminary report of the investigation has been received.
On May 4th at around 5.45 pm, this concrete beam had collapsed in the Kadawatha to Mirigama section of the Central Expressway in Bemmulla, Kadaoluwawa area.
The collapsed concrete beam is about 35 meters long.
The Road Development Authority stated that two more beams of the road are in a dangerous condition.
