Yesterday (26) Sri Lankan athletes managed to win the bronze medal in the 400×4 meter mixed race in the 21st Asian Under-20 Athletics Championship held in Dubai.
Jathya Kirulu, Jithma Wijetunga, Themiya Rajapaksa and Nuhansa Kodithuwakku represented the winning team that managed to adorn Sri Lanka with a bronze medal.
In this competition, the first place was won by China and the second place by India.
