The country’s official foreign reserves increased by 9.5%

Sri Lanka’s official foreign reserves have increased by 9.5% in February, says Minister of State for Finance Shehan Semasinghe.

It was 4.52 billion dollars in the previous month and it has increased to 4.95 billion dollars in February this year.

The state minister says that it reflects the positive momentum of the country’s economic development.

He said this shows that the economic reform process has begun to translate into results by creating financial stability, resilience and greater confidence in the economy.
