It has been reported today that for the first time in 8 months, the purchase price of an American dollar is less than 300 rupees.
Accordingly, the Central Bank has reported the purchase price of one US dollar as 299.29 rupees today.
The last time the value of the dollar was below 300 rupees was in July 2023.
