According to the Department of Meteorology, the hot weather these days will continue until mid-April.

Its director Mr. Ajith Wijemanna said to minimize outdoor activities as much as possible during the hot weather.

According to the Department of Meteorology, the reason for the current hot weather is the decrease in wind speed and cloudiness in the sky.

Due to the hot conditions, doctors asked to protect young children, elderly people and chronic patients from dehydration.

Here, it is important to follow health advice including drinking enough water, resting as much as possible in shaded areas, and limiting strenuous outdoor activities.
