Mr. Deshabandu Tennakoon has been appointed as the 36th Inspector General of Police in Sri Lanka.
President Ranil Wickramasinghe has appointed Mr. Deshbandu Tennakoon as the Inspector General of Police in accordance with the provisions of the Constitution, the Presidential Media Division announced.
Mr. Deshabandu Tennakoon was acting as the Acting Inspector General of Police.
