State Minister for Transport Mr. Lasantha Alagiyawanna says that proposals have been received from 54 institutions to reduce the daily traffic accidents.
He said that 8 open proposals have been received from 12 schools, 19 universities and 2 other institutions.
The Minister of State said that among them are solutions for the safety of pedestrians as well as areas where road accidents are common.
