The price of an egg will increase from today (12).
Accordingly, the wholesale price of an egg is Rs. 58 from today.
The All Ceylon Egg Trade Association said that the retail price of an egg can be up to Rs. 63.
The association says that the reason for this is the increase in the costs of egg distribution and many other costs affecting the trade.
