211 officers and 1,239 other ranks of the Sri Lanka Army have been promoted to their next ranks.
It is to celebrate the 76th National Independence Day today.
The Sri Lanka Army says that it includes 02 brigadiers to major generals, 12 colonels to brigadiers, and 13 lieutenant colonels to colonels.
