One person died and 06 people were injured in a road accident near Passarayaya junction on Kataragama Sellakataragama road.
This accident happened yesterday (28) at night.
Kataragama police stated that the accident occurred when a van which was driving from Sellakataragama towards Kataragama collided with a motorcycle parked on the road, two trees and a boom truck.
A 25-year-old resident of Kataragama died in this accident.
The injured have been admitted to Kataragama Hospital.
