Indo-Lanka Passenger Ferry Service Resumes

The passenger ferry service between Sri Lanka and India is planned to resume from the next 15th.

The Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Aviation said that it has the permission of the Government of India.

The ferry service operates from Kankasanthurai to Nagapattam in Tamil Nadu.

Passenger ferry service between Sri Lanka and India goes back centuries.

However, due to the situation in the country, the passenger ferry service was stopped for four decades.

Through this, it will be possible to travel to India at a low cost.
