Specialist Dr. Ananda Wijewickrama has been appointed as the new president of the Sri Lanka Medical Association (SLMA) yesterday (06).
He is the 136th President of Sri Lanka Medical Association.
Commenting there, he said that the shortage of medicines in the country is slowly decreasing.
The doctor has also mentioned that the specialist doctors are ready to work with the Ministry of Health by advising the Ministry of Health to further reduce the shortage of medicines.
