Three-wheeler fares have been increased from today (01), says the National Union of Three-wheeler Drivers and Manufacturers.

However, the association states that the amount of 100 rupees charged for the first kilometer will not change.

Accordingly, the fee of 80 rupees charged from the second kilometer has been increased to 100 rupees.

Meanwhile, the All Island School Van Owners Association has decided to raise school van fares starting next month.

Its chairman Mr. Lalith Fernando said that parents will be informed with those percentages.
