The Ministry of Finance has announced changes affecting fuel and LP gas prices from January next year.
According to the Ministry of Finance, the price of fuel and LP gas will increase due to the implementation of 18% VAT.
However, the Finance Ministry has decided to remove the existing 7.5% Port and Airport Development Levy (PAL) on fuel and LP gas.
The Ministry added that the Port and Airport Development Levy (PAL) on fuel and LP gas will be removed after implementation of VAT from January 01, 2024.
