The railway headquarters states that arrangements have been made to run a special train for devotees travelling from Beliatta and Colombo Fort to Anuradhapura for the ‘Maha Ariyawansa Sermon’ held on the Anuradhapura Ruwanweli Mahasaya.
In addition, the headquarters said that the devotees participating in this Pooja from Kandy will arrive at Polgahawela station by train number 1036 from Kandy railway station to Colombo Fort at 6.50 am and travel to Anuradhapura by this special train.
