Police Media Spokesman Senior DIG Ajith Rohana stated that 47922 persons have been arrested for violating the quarantine rules. 343 persons have been arrested in the last 24 hours ending at 6.00 am today.
He further stated that the public transport services also seem to be operated in accordance with the quarantine laws.
