Due to the collapse of an earthen mound on the road, traffic has been completely blocked in the Diyagala area of the Hatton-Colombo A-7 main road, as there is a risk of another landslide, so the authorities advise to use alternative routes.

Police said that vehicles coming from Colombo can reach Hatton via Lakshapana Norton Bridge.
Police further stated that traffic coming from Kandy can use Nawalapitiya-Dimbulapatana-Talawakele road.
Meanwhile, traffic on the Deniya-Ratnapura road has come to a complete standstill due to the collapse of an earthen mound.
The police further states that Paskanda has crashed into the road near the 86th kilometer post in the Anilkanda area of the road.
