Mr. Susil Premajayantha, the Minister of Education, said that the provision of vouchers for students in schools in rural areas to get school shoes will start on the 4th and end on the 27th.
The minister says there are distant, disadvantaged and isolated schools for that.
These vouchers are to be given to 740,000 such school children.
