Opposition leader Mr. Sajith Premadasa says that all the citizens of the country have the ability to demand compensation from the group named by the Supreme Court for destroying the country’s economy.
He said that the group will now have to be responsible for the entire society while commenting in the budget debate held in Parliament.
He said this while commenting on the Supreme Court’s recent verdict that former presidents Gotabhaya Rajapaksa and Mahinda Rajapaksa, former finance minister Basil Rajapaksa and others are responsible for the country’s economic crisis.
