Traffic on the Balangoda-Kalthota main road has been disrupted, so the police are requesting drivers to use alternative routes.
This road has been blocked due to the collapse of the soil mound from Kalthota-Navanaliya area due to rains today (31).
Meanwhile, a train that was running from Rambukkana to Colombo this morning (31) suffered a technical fault near Wayangoda railway station.
It is also stated that despite some delay due to this, the train has been restored and able to start its journey.
