Sri Lanka’s Nuwan Indika has won the gold medal in the men’s 100m T44 category at the Asian Para Games.
That is after recording a time of 11.63 seconds.
It is reported that Nuwan managed to set a new Asian Para record in this event.
Meanwhile, Sri Lankan para athlete Pradeep Somasiri has won the gold medal in the T46 1500m running event at the 2023 Asian Para Games.
The time taken by Pradeep Somesiri to complete the event was 4:05.14 minutes.
