A cabinet reshuffle has been made this morning.
Ministers included in the new amendment took oath today at the Presidential Secretariat.
Accordingly, Minister Ramesh Pathirana has been given the post of Minister of Health in addition to the post of Industry Minister.
Mr. Keheliya Rambukwella, who was serving as the Minister of Health, has been sworn in as the Minister of Environment after facing a vote of no confidence in that position.
The post of Minister of Agriculture and Plantation Industries has been given to Mr. Mahinda Amaraweera.
In addition, Mr. Ranjith Siyambalapitiya has been named as the non-cabinet minister for plantation industries.
