The Sri Lankan cricket team’s player Maheesh Thiekshana will not participate in the finals of the Asia Cup, Sri Lanka Cricket said.
It was due to his injury during the match against Pakistan.
The scan revealed that his muscle was torn.
Accordingly, the Sri Lanka Cricket Selection Committee has called Sahan Arachchige to the squad instead of Maheesh Theekshana.
The Asia Cup final between Sri Lanka and India tomorrow (17) will be held at R. Premadasa Stadium, Colombo.
