The government has decided to send all the employees of Cooperative Wholesale Corporation or Sathosa on compulsory leave and close the company.
According to the circular issued by the chairman of Sathosa, all the 328 employees who are currently working in Sathosa will be compensated through a formula from the thirtieth of this month.
The circular further states that Sathosa employees will be entitled to their salary in the month of September and will also be entitled to employee provident fund, employee trust fund and gratuity.
