The Ministry of Education states that steps will be taken to provide Covid vaccine to students in all universities in the country.
The Vice Chancellors have requested the Minister of Education to vaccinate all university students in the country and to resume academic activities in universities following health and safety measures, the Ministry of Education said.
The Vice Chancellors and Vice Chancellors made this request at a discussion held at the Ministry of Education today regarding the online activities of university students and their problems.
The Vice-Chancellors of the Western Province and the Chairman of the University Grants Commission Prof. Sampath Amaratunga and few others were also present at the discussion.
