Parties make several arrangements for the no-confidence motion

A special committee will be appointed by the ruling party to prepare the necessary arrangements to defeat the no-confidence motion against Health Minister Keheliya Rambukwella.

It is reported that in a special meeting of the ruling party MPs held yesterday (4) under the chairmanship of President Ranil Wickramasinghe, the President has informed that all the MPs should work to defeat the no-confidence motion vote.

It is said that there was a long discussion in the Cabinet meeting held yesterday.

Meanwhile, the Samagi Jana Balawegaya continues to negotiate with the opposition groups to win the motion of no confidence presented against Health Minister Keheliya Rambukwella.

The Samagi Jana Balawegaya says that the discussions will be held on several occasions from today to Friday (8).
