One person has died in a shooting that took place this afternoon in the Kiththampahuwa area of Wellampitiya.
A 47-year-old man named Mohammad Sajan, a resident of Modara, Medampitiya Road, has been murdered.
The police say that this man was shot by two people who came on a motorcycle while he was traveling in a three-wheeler.
