Some of the strongest laws, regulations and terms affecting the economy of this country are scheduled to be debated in the parliament that will meet today.
Regulations under the Import and Export (Control) Act, regulations under the Sri Lanka Export Development Act, orders under the Colombo Port City Economic Commission Act and regulations under the Strategic Development Projects Act are scheduled to be debated today.
A debate will be held between MPs on the relevant terms today from 10.30 am to 5.00 pm.
