Three armed men broke into a house in Borella Lake Drive, where a Chinese businessman resides, the day before yesterday (19) night and stole money and property worth more than 416 lakh rupees, and fled.
Su Zu Qing, a 38-year-old Chinese businessman, has complained to the Borella Police that the robbers who broke into the house pointed guns and scared his interpreter and the house cook and tied his hands and feet. The police said that they then robbed the house of US dollars, Yuan, Thai money, Hong Kong dollars, Dirhams, Sri Lankan money, 11 mobile phones, 07 laptops, an Armani watch, and 05 bottles of foreign liquor.
