The Elysee Palace has issued an announcement that French President Emmanuel Macron will visit Sri Lanka tonight (28).
The French President is coming to Sri Lanka while returning to France after completing his visit to Vanuatu and Papua New Guinea, and it marks the first time a French President is visiting this country.
Thus, the French President who is coming to Sri Lanka tonight (28) is scheduled to leave Sri Lanka tomorrow (29) morning. During this visit, Mr. Emmanuel Macron will meet the President of Sri Lanka, Mr. Ranil Wickremesinghe and hold a bilateral discussion.
The Elysee Palace, the official residence of the French President, has announced that this will be an opportunity to further strengthen the bilateral relations between Sri Lanka and France.
