A person who tried to abduct a 7-year-old girl who had come to the Galle Face area with her parents was caught by the people in Galle Face and handed over to the Fort Police.

A 33-year-old man who is a resident of Blair Lomond estate in Udupusellawa has tried to kidnap this girl.
