It is reported that the government is taking steps to temporarily suspend the import of organic fertilizer.
The Department of Agriculture states that the decision to suspend this decision has been taken into consideration as there is a progress in the production of organic fertilizer locally and the growth of organic fertilizer production in the country is expected.
Recently, the government suspended the import of chemical fertilizers. It was also internationally acclaimed.
It was earlier decided to take steps to import organic fertilizer to meet the country’s fertilizer requirement.
