Former Colombo Municipal Councilor Mr. Mahinda Kahandagama has been remanded in custody.
He was arrested today by the Colombo Fraud Investigation Division on charges of defrauding a person of 70 lakh rupees by promising to provide a house.
Then Mr. Mahinda Kahandagama, who was presented to the court, was ordered to be remanded until the 22nd.
