A robber broke into the house of a senior official of the Port Authority who is connected to the media and looted over ten million rupees in cash and gold.
This house is located on Katuwawala Mawatha, Boralasgamuwa.
Boralasgamuwa Police say that a man broke into the house yesterday with a pointed knife, scared the housemaid and stole 10,400 US dollars and more than 55 lakh rupees.
The police say that the value of looted money and gold items exceeds ten million rupees.
