A witness in a case was shot at in Dikwella

A key witness in a kidnapping case was shot by two men in a car in the Dikwella Dematapitiya area this morning with a T-56 gun and fled.

The police say that he was shot and admitted to Matara Hospital.

It is said that the person who was shot is separated from his wife and lives separately. The police say that the cause is an extramarital affair of the wife.

The police say that family quarrels had arisen between the two due to this extramarital relationship and as a result of it going too far, this person was abducted and assaulted by her extramarital husband some time ago.

The police have arrested several people, including the extramarital husband living in Beliaththa, in connection with the abduction. The police have arrested the person who has political connections with a lot of effort.

The police say that the husband who was shot at after the abduction is living in his parent’s house and his wife and children are living in his house.

The police say that although the wife and husband live in two houses, the person who was shot has a habit of coming near the house where the wife lives and taking the children to school on a daily basis.

Today, he was shot while riding his motorcycle near the house where his wife lives to take the children to school.
