MP Gajendrakumar Ponnambalam, who was arrested this morning (07), has been granted bail after being produced before the Kilinochchi Magistrate’s Court.
On the afternoon of the 2nd, the MP was arrested on charges of a conflict with police officers and intelligence officers while attending a meeting with young people at the Vadamarachchi public playground.
The court also imposed a foreign travel ban on the MP yesterday.
