It is reported that Samagi Jana Balavega (SJB) Member of Parliament Dr. Harsha De Silva has been appointed as the Chairman of the Committee on Public Finance (COPF).
It is said that this appointment has been made according to the proposal of President Ranil Wickramasinghe.
This nomination has been made as per Standing Order 121.
The first meeting of the Committee on Public Finance will be held this afternoon under the chairmanship of Member of Parliament, Dr. Harsha De Silva.
Dr. Harsha De Silva also held the position of Chairman of the Committee on Government Finance in the Third round of the Ninth Parliament.
