International Monetary Fund (IMF) Deputy Managing Director Mr. Kenji Okamura is scheduled to arrive in Sri Lanka today (31) for a two-day official visit.
He is scheduled to hold talks with the President, Finance Ministry officials and Central Bank of Sri Lanka officials.
He will also be engaged in an observation tour of several projects including Colombo Port City.
He is scheduled to participate in several rounds of discussions on recent trends in Sri Lanka’s economic development, opportunities to empower the economy in the future, and ways to minimize obstacles and delays.
