It has been decided to increase the current fuel quota in conjunction with the fuel price revision to be carried out next month.
This decision was taken in the discussion held yesterday with the finance, trade and marketing departments of Ceylon Petroleum Corporation.
Mr. Kanchana Wijesekera, the Minister of Electricity and Energy, said that the future fuel import plan, the distribution plan as well as the financial situation of the oil companies will be discussed at length.
