Four young women and three people who are running a racket that sells young women to foreigners and millionaire businessmen of Sri Lanka for huge sums of money were arrested last night in an organized raid by the officers of the Central Anti-Corruption Task Force in Walane which received information about the racket.
These people who came in two cars have been arrested at Agaruwathota.
According to information from the Central Anti-Corruption Force in Walane, there was a model, a bank employee working in a private bank and two businessmen’s wives among the young women.
Investigations have revealed that this one woman is being sold for Rs. 55,000 for two to three hours.
These suspects are going to be presented to Horana Court today.
