President Ranil Wickramasinghe said that everyone should work together to build a country that is free from bankruptcy and can live with dignity.
The President mentioned this yesterday (20) while joining the public ownership of the “Asupini Ella Water Scheme” at Kegalle Aranaya.
This will provide solutions to the drinking water problem in 135 village officer domains belonging to Aranayake, Mawanella and Rambukkana divisional secretariats in Kegalle district.
This meets the clean drinking water needs of around 169,000 people.
This water scheme was implemented under the financial allocation of 3,847 million rupees from the Government of Sri Lanka and 18,650 million rupees from the Dutch government.
