According to the Government Ayurvedic Medical Officers Association, nearly 25 Ayurvedic doctors have left the country.
Its chairman Dr. P. Hewagamage said that although he requested the authorities an opportunity to discuss the existing problems with the doctors, he did not get an opportunity so far.
The President of the Government Ayurvedic Medical Officers Association added that a problematic situation has arisen in the administration of Ayurvedic hospitals.
