The Department of Education Publications says that arrangements have been made to provide all the missing textbooks to the schools before the end of next month.
The department mentioned that the printed textbooks are being distributed to schools.
Books will be distributed directly through the department to schools in the Western Province.
The books distributed in this way include workbooks which are in short supply in various grades related to the subjects of school students.
This year, 33 million textbooks have been printed and the amount spent for that is Rs. 16 billion.
