The police say that five people who lived in a house near the jetty on Delft Island were brutally stabbed and cut to death.
The police Media Spokesperson’s Office said that 02 of them were men.
A woman in serious condition with cut injuries has been admitted to Jaffna Hospital for treatment.
The police suspect this mass killing occurred between last night and this morning.
The reason for the killings has not been revealed. The police say that a group of relatives has been killed.
