According to the weather report issued by the Department of Meteorology today at 05.30 in the morning of the 21st, there will be rain or thundershowers in the Western, Sabaragamuwa, Southern, Central and North-Central provinces and in the Mullaitivu district in the evening or at night.
A few showers may occur in the Western and Southern coastal areas in the morning too.
General public is kindly requested to take adequate precautions to minimize damages caused by temporary localized strong winds and lightning during thundershowers.
