It has been decided to summon the heads of the Sri Lanka Police Department and the Samurdhi Development Department before the Parliamentary Committee on Public Accounts (COPA).
Accordingly, the heads of the Samurdhi Development Department will be called before the COPA on Tuesday (25th) and the head of the Police Department on Wednesday (26th).
Chairman of the COPA Mr. Lasantha Alagiyawanna, said that this investigation will be conducted based on the reports of the Auditor General and the current performance of those institutions.
