For the first time in the history of the United States of America, a former president appeared before the court yesterday (04) as a criminal defendant.
After being indicted by the jury in New York, former President Donald Trump surrendered to the court yesterday evening. The primary criminal charge against the former president was an illegal money transaction he made during the 2016 presidential election.
The charges leveled against the former president were presented in court for the first time, where there were basically 34 criminal charges against him.
Former President Trump had been charged with 34 criminal charges and the court had previously declared him innocent.
There, the government said that former President Trump was involved in a conspiracy to undermine the 2016 presidential election. Here, the former president has paid money to try to suppress information that could damage his candidacy. He was later accused of concealing the true nature of the payment.
In the meantime, accusations were made that Trump had paid money to cover up the fact that he had sexual relations with two women for many years. There, the former president disclosed the payment of money to a woman who was acting in adult-only films.
However, it is also reported that the fingerprints of the former president have been taken at the court and after that he has left the court.
When the former president came to the court, a group of people who supported him gathered in front of the court. They said that these court actions are conspiracies to prevent Trump from contesting the 2024 presidential election.
